Their chase for a championship resumes as they hit the road for semifinals Friday

Seventeen Hampton Roads teams won Virginia High School League quarterfinals Tuesday in baseball, softball and boys and girls soccer, and their quest for a crown continues with semifinals across the state Friday.

Class 6 and Class 5 semifinals and championship games are scheduled for Leesburg, Chantilly and Ashburn, while Class 4 and Class 3 teams head to the Fredericksburg area. Class 2 and Class 1 semis and championships will be in the Roanoke area.

Here’s a look at Friday’s state semifinal schedule for Hampton Roads teams. Times are subject to change because of graduation ceremonies.

Semifinal at Freedom High in Chantilly Landstown vs. Langley, 1:30 p.m.
