It has been 8 long months since you have joined Gods team. Right now I remain hurt and feeling selfish because I want more phone calls, more visits and most of all I want more of that God given ability you had to leave me feeling encouraged, motivated and in awe of the amazing young man you had become! It has taken me some time but it is important that I now tell you, Thank You! Thank you for allowing me to see your authenticity in all that you did. Thank you for showing me that while being “successful” requires results, being “significant” requires helping others to get results. Thank you for showing me that the best way to lift yourself up is to lift someone else up! Thank you for wearing the #90 as an All Regional Defensive Back and showing me how your creativity allowed your intelligence to have fun. Thank you for the friendship and example you had with my own son as now he sits as a Head Football Coach himself today, where your photo hangs proudly over his desk. Reminding him that you’re always with him on his journey. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of coaching you and loving you and your entire family! I’m forever grateful! Lets remember the imprint Josh has left for us, no matter your situation, through faith love and giving to those who need assistance. We must be the example and remind everyone you can that if your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Not only are you a true leader, but you will embrace success and significance just like Joshua Emanuel Owusu-Koramoah demonstrated to us all! Highway #90 will forever be closed in you honor! Thank you! love you Josh, Forever with me, Coach Barker.
