What’s next?

According to recent letters and the liberal media, the failure of the recent immigration legislation is the Republicans’ fault. What about HR2, Secure the Border Act of 2023, which has languished on Sen.

Chuck Schumer’s desk for nearly a year? This bill would have been a good starting point but could not be acted on because it was anti the border policy of the Democrats.

The mass influx of migrants has overrun parts of the country to the breaking point. Realizing this will be bad for reelection, a bill is concocted under the guise of “immigration reform,” which was mostly a codification of President Joe Biden’s border policies. The bill would have allowed the continual flow of migrants with mandatory expulsions “if the daily average for a week exceeded 5,000, or 8,500 in a single day,” according to the Cato Institute — real immigration reform. Biden creates a serious problem for the country and then poses a solution with so many poison pills even some Democratic senators voted against it. Biden the unifier. Of course Biden claims it’s all former President Donald Trump’s fault.

And now we have the special counsel report which found that Biden willfully retained classified info, and mishandled and shared it. The report labels Biden “as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Time after time when he speaks in public, Biden gets some name or fact wrong, confirming special counsel Robert Hur’s assessment.

What disaster will Biden lead us into next?
