Filipowski back from court-storm injury

Center leads Duke to rout of Louisville

Kyle Filipowski was back in the starting lineup Wednesday night four days after sustaining a knee injury when fans stormed the court. He finished with nine points, 10 rebounds and six assists as No. 10 Duke beat Louisville 84-59 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Filipowski was hurt following Saturday’s loss at Wake Forest when he collided with a fan. Team managers and coaching-staff members helped guide the star sophomore center away from the swarming fans and off the court.

Jeremy Roach scored 19 points, Mark Mitchell 17 and Jared McCain 14 as the Blue Devils (22-6, 13-4 ACC) won for the sixth time in seven games. Duke is one game behind conference-leading North Carolina with three regular-season games remaining for both teams.

James Madison 84, Georgia State Terrence Edwards Jr. led the 78: Dukes (27-3, 14-3 Sun Belt) in his hometown of Atlanta with a career-high 30 points against the Panthers (13-16, 7-10).

Richmond 80, Saint Louis 64: Jordan King scored 27 points, sank seven 3-pointers and made four steals for the Spiders (21-7, 13-2 Atlantic 10) in a road victory.

VCU 88, Rhode Island 67: Joe Bamisile’s 24 points off the bench led VCU (19-9, 11-4 A-10) past URI (11-17, 5-10) at Siegel Center.

Charleston Southern 58, Radford Despite former Oscar Smith 57: High guard Kenyon Giles’ 18 points, the Highlander­s (15-15, 5-10 Big South) lost to the Buccaneers (10-18, 6-9) in South Carolina.

UNC Greensboro 100, VMI 58: Mikeal Brown-Jones had 26 points for the Spartans (21-9, 12-5 Southern Conference) in their home win.

No. 2 Ohio State 67, Michigan 51: Jacy Sheldon scored 22 points to lead Ohio State (25-3, 16-1) to its 15th straight win and the Big Ten regular-season title.

No. 20 Oklahoma 71, No. 3 Texas Lexy Keys hit the go-ahead 70: 3-pointer with 4 seconds left to help the Sooners (21-7, 15-2) clinch the outright Big 12 title by defeating the Longhorns (26-4, 13-4) in Norman.
