Must avoid potential early duel with COOL AS ICE who flashed some improvement with additional of blinkers. Could prove best upset threat. MBRACE GRACE eligible to pick up some late pieces behind top pair.

THIRD RACE

SOLFATARA wheels back on short rest but exiting wide open company for this softer, conditioned spot, looks like controlling speed on stretch to mile, may not look back here B L’S WAGON swung well out for drive, finished with good energy and obviously a proven commodity at a mile. One to fear. DIPLOMATIC AFFAIR second best as 6-5 choice vs. similar one month earlier but with no published works in the interim.

FOURTH RACE

MANDEVILLE has been away since mid-December but with a steady diet of works under her belt and getting plenty of class relief while luring top jock for her return. Held own with better in bow. HOLD THAT KITTEN stretches back around two turns off much needed sprint outing, could be coming on best at the end. LOVE ME IN MALIBU rallied wide, hung a bit at the end making her first start

FIFTH RACE

TU EXAGERES, the day’s best, turns back to a sprint after dueling, fading late trying two turns in latest. Lugged in, raced greenly when second best, this distance, in only previous try. LITTLE CHESNEY by City Zip, demands espect launching

SIXTH RACE

MR. SAM did not get the best of trips when shuffled steadily from the rail when dropped to this level for the first time earlier this month, reunites with Juarez, might offer some value if able to trip

out a little cleaner today CZARMO made a nice middle run to the lead, could not withstand winner but held gamely for second money while continuing to hold form well at this time. The logical choice. EL MUNDO and Z Town a couple of new faces to the category, obviously wouldn’t have to be too much to win off bench for top connections.

NINTH RACE

FILLERUP back for a tag, wasn’t badly beaten vs. better in lone turf try despite breaking slow, racing greenly. Perhaps ready for best yet with two under his belt. May be worth a look at the price. BETTABE FAST logical returning to the lawn after disappointing main track try. Must shake loose early from Wildcat Wave. BIONDETTI SONG came flying late in a race which collapsed at the end to finish 3rd under similar conditions two back.

TENTH RACE

SILVER DEFENSE took back off slow pace, came wide with bid, rallied belatedly while turning in another promising effort around two turns on grass. Sitting on maiden win with cleaner trip. SECRETARY AT WAR stalked, got to the lead, could not last while showing improvement with addition of blinkers. Another knocking on door with this kind. STORM TEAM stretches out off a couple of turn sprints to open career, may look to steal this one on the front end.

ELEVENTH RACE

CURSOR has been away but the class of this bunch
