BEST BET: RACE 4, LOOKIN FOR MONEY

FIRST RACE

KISS THE CROWN 4th last out against perhaps a little better bunch than she faces in the opener. Gets shaky nod in a race where trip surely to decide outcome. PIRA got hung out a bit wide last time when beaten a length on jump to N3L level, good enough to win with a clean run. ZERO OUT beat the gate, held tenaciously before jusat failing in latest but likely to have hands full again with Playa Zaragoza and perhaps even Awesomendensome.

SECOND RACE

SMART JERSEY dueled, succumbed late while still earning career best Beyer last time, looks loose if hustled early in this spot. May not look back if able to control pace from outset. OCEAN SUNRISE dons shades, drops, switches to dirt, lots of reasons to expect improvement to be forthcoming. CASE DISMISSED outfinished preferred choice in previous encounter, has hit board in four of five starts, hard to leave out of the equation.

THIRD RACE

CHISELED a ten time winner who took the measure of equally tough Chepstow and did so easily ini latest. Should trip out nicely again behind speed of ILLUSTRIOUS SON and Russian Greek. Former earned huge marks getting loose on wet track earning diploma, will have to prove mettle against better on stretch to mile. Well posted inside but must avoid potential duel with RG. BILLION STAR idle since August but showed enough at this level last summer to merit respect off series of what appears to be nice a.m. trials.

FOURTH RACE

LOOKIN FOR MONEY, the day’s best, steps into open company for the first time but not facing any killers in the category, should take another in present form. LAPANTALONES FANCE not badly beaten vs. same kind on 3/23, may prove one to fear. HUAQUECHULA a question mark off the layoff with only 2 published works showing on resume/ but did lure Tyler G., could be a factor if not need- ing one off bench.

FIFTH RACE

R NEXT ROLL failed to live up to her backing ini bow after chasing very fast pace, but that race turned out to be a good one with 2nd & 3rd finishers returning to beat MSW co. in their next starts. Might stand some catching if able to clear off early from Afleet Tizzy. MALIBU EYES fetched $270K at the OBS March 2yo sales a year ago and has shown promise on numerous occasions in the a.m. prepping for bow. Tab board for further clues. HONOR WAY has been freshened after showing a little promise at 2 ini N Y. Barn usually has ‘em fit and ready to roll off these types of layoffs.

SIXTH RACE

CRAVE looked like a horse who wanted more distance in her debut, whether she also wants grass is the key to this one. Gets tepid nod in turf bow. SHE’S ALWAYS READY dueled, succumbed late while showing improvement stretching out, switching to grass, but figures to have hands full if trying to make the front end again in this lineup. UNTRUTHFUL SONNET a question mark launching career in pretty ordinary looking spot for high percentage connections. She is a kin to 1 previious inner winner.

BULL EMPRESS succumbed grudgingly to better in her most recent try, gets slight edge in field of well matched turf claimers. CALI CAT another getting some class relief after faring ok vs. better
