EIGHTH RACE

-

BARRY KARAFIN BETS extended Pletcher’s odds on and well regarded Third Day when last sighted on 2/8 but continues to train forwardly, need only repeat either of his last pair to take another. WAIT back to dirt, speedy sort may ultimately prove one to catch if able to avoid early battle with Mai Ty One On. MY FRIEND the only 3 time winner in the field. In good hands off the claim.

NINTH RACE

FRANCESCO FLIER was compromised by tough post, got hung wide throughout, faltered late while still running another bang up race on the turf. Better drawn, nicely spotted to get back on winning track here. ALBERT CHARLES another who could not overcome impossible post in latest first off the claim for current connections. One to fear withi repeat of previious 2 tries. RED KING was hung wide, still drew off to easy maiden win, properly spotted against similarly priced starter co. today.

TENTH RACE

Tough call as usual in grassy finale. HAT IN THE RING held own against class droopped Red King, who paired up 73 Beyers earning diploma on 3/12, not meeting that kind in the nightcap. Slight edge if able to rate, trip out off the speed. ALL HANSENS ONDECK moved well forward switching to turf, finishing fourth in a field that produced pair of next out grads. Well spotted on rail with Gaffalione up. SO LONG CHUCK seems to be regressing a tad from a number standpoint but dropping to weakest level yet, might not look back if able to clear off, control this one without issue from the outset.
