Daily Racing Form gets ADW license
Daily Racing Form has been granted an advance-deposit wagering (ADW) license by the Oregon Racing Commission in advance of the new DRF Bets platform launch in midFebruary.
“We are delighted that the Oregon Racing Commission has granted DRF an ADW hub license,” said James Zenni, Chairman of SIG and President and CEO of Z Capital. “DRF is an iconic brand and with this license as well as Z Capital’s support, DRF is strongly positioned to continue elevating the horse racing industry for a variety of audiences, providing a best-in-class experience for dedicated handicappers and casual players as well as a new generation of horse racing fans. This license further positions DRF for success in the digital age of horse racing – the future of wagering in America.”
DRF has offered account wagering through DRF Bets since 2011. DRF Bets’ innovative new player interface and platform will feature an updated look and new functionality, incorporating a variety of player-friendly enhancements integrating DRF’s worldclass racing content, analysis, handicapping functionality, and tools with the DRF Bets wager pad.
“From the horseplayers’ perspective, the ORC license enables DRF Bets to offer a dramatically enhanced player experience and service for our members,” Zenni said.
“DRF Bets’ proprietary frontend player interface, platform, and account management systems will create a transformative and more personalized service for the player. For the first time, a DRF Bets member will be able to draw upon DRF’s vast racing content and archives, DRF’s race analysis, premium DRF PPs and tools, DRF TicketMaker and DRF’s world-class, real-time handicapping coverage via DRF Live! to wager with more confidence and enjoyment.”
DRF’s new single account functionality will also allow players to seamlessly and conveniently navigate within DRF’s digital ecosystem, allowing access to DRF.com, DRF Bets, and DRF Tournament services with one account.
