A Kentucky-based 3-year-old filly making her California debut vs. older males in a turf marathon, she ran well with a ground-saving trip. Tough next out vs. 3-year-old fillies.

Trainer: Doug O’Neill Last race: Aug. 2, 7th Finish: 5th by 2 Beyer: 83 First start in nearly two years, this Calbred stakes winner pressed a sizzling pace and did not tire until deep stretch in this second-level-allowance turf sprint. This was a sharp comeback.

SEA SENSATION

Favored to win this starter-allowance turf mile, this improving 3-year-old Cal-bred filly was caught four wide from start to finish. She can be followed in a similar two-turn grass race.
