BEST BET: RACE 4, ADMIRAL LYNCH

FIRST RACE

WATCH YOUR STEP did not have the luckiest of beginnings in latest, could prove controlling speed in opener if away running from outside post. . EL PLAYON has been gelded since finishing second under similar conditions 18 days earlier. Lures Irad. Logical choice. HOMEDRILL in new hands since last time, drops to bottom, turf to dirt, should come running at the end.

SECOND RACE

CORDELE taken at the price in a race that could fall apart at the end. No match for loose on the lead FALLEN LEAF in last two meetings although latter could face some sterner competition for the lead today. BAND OF ANGELS brings four race win streak into this race but like Fallen Leaf at her best when on the lead.

THIRD RACE

HOW SWEEP IT IS back for a tag for just the second time, has the speed to lead these a merry chase if able to shake loose from the outset. ON WITH GOD by Kantharos and from a barn with positive ROI with debut maiden claimers. Tab board for further clues.MIAMI ROSE showed some early lick herself in a race switched from turf to dirt. Figures forwardly throughout.

FOURTH RACE

ADMIRAL LYNCH, the day’s best, ran a bit greenly when second best to fast closing Jason Servis first timer Final Jeopardy in his local bow. Returned with bullet drill, need only keep straight path to graduate. LAHINCH has shown some promise in the a.m. in recent weeks, might be primed for big effort off bench. GREATER CAIRO made middle move to lead, faded late behind preferred choice in his bow and likely to improve from the effort.

FIFTH RACE

BURNIN DAYLIGHT gets the call at a square price dropping in company out of a sneaky good race at GPW, one which produced six horses who Beyered 70 or higher in their next starts. Improving sort lures Tyler for the assignment. JUPITER RISING the logical one returning to selling ranks for just the second time since winning his maiden and first this year. LEMON BLITZ well spotted off N Y bred maiden win against a field that produced pair of next out grads.

SIXTH RACE

PAPA’S GIRL broke slow, steadied leaving chute, passed some tired ones late but figures to be well primed for stretch to a mile if able to leave cleaner from the rail. ROSEPATH takes huge class plunge from MSW to $16K. Barn off to a good start at the meet. POESIA chased leaders, faded late after sluggish start last time, could grab a share if able to shake loose on front end ala good GPW finale on 11/11.

SEVENTH RACE

SNUGGLEY BEAR back to the turf for the first time since June of 2016 but proven over the surface and exiting best effort in a while earlier this month at Tampa. Has the speed to race forwardly throughout. Might surprise at a price. GIVE TO U. K. CATS the obvious choice off his last several tries but perhaps a bit suspicious having been idle nearly four months since grueling 1 1/2 mile win on 10/6

and in for $16K tag today. UNO EMAYO ran down Piloting when pair met for same tag two back and hard to ignore in current form. Stretch runner will need some help up front. SILVER KITTEN caught yielding turf, broke slow, likely had no chance in debut now dons shades and shows some improved works on PM inner. Expecting big move forward for Kitten’s Joy filly. IRISH INTUITION finished a good second albeit off a great trip in CD turf finale and obviously owns major experience edge on this bunch. DELTA’S KINGDOM wanted no part of the slop after showing brief speed in career bow and another who figures to move well forward off that effort if able to get on firm turf today.

NINTH RACE

EL ZEUS figures to catch a lot of pace to run at while getting significant class relief off trouble trip last time. Can be along at his best. NICKIE’S PAPA chased runaway winner in local bow but will have to deal early on in this spot with SUB FACTUM. Survivor of that potential battle likely the one to fear.

TENTH RACE

ILLUDERE cut out to be a good one and obviously well suited to grass getting nipped last time by more experienced Flyoff while finishing in front of toughee Rapt. Distance the main question today. HIERARCHY a plodding sort but with good numbers and coming off a bit of a troubled outing behind stakes placed Cullum Road. Looks like an overall softer spot today. BERN’ JAMES BERN sharp at the moment but perhaps facing a notch better than in his last pair.

ELEVENTH RACE

SEA OF HOPE dueled throughout before succumbing grudgingly to pair of closers including well backed Chad Brown firster Demarchelier. Need only repeat the effort to earn diploma in finale. OVERBOLD a $500K yearling buy who shows steady work pattern at Payson. Son of Uncle Mo debuts on Lasix, might be a good one. A. K. SAFARI showed promise two back over CD sod. Hard to leave out of the equation.
