How to play

- By Michael Hammersly

LRL 8: JEFAZO looked good winning two races here at this level earlier in the fall. He found stakes too much to handle but the return to this level may be key. DEGROM was a good second to JEFAZO in a race at this trip and level here Oct. 18. He then found stakes waters too deep but like the top pick may appreciate returning to this level. TAPPIN CAT comes here on a roll, having finished first in three of his last four (was DQ’d from a win in a race just like this here last time out). While he had his number taken down that run shows he’s a proven fit at this game and level. (3)

GP 8: MARCELINO ran third vs. $10K rivals on turf at Gulfstream Park West last time out Nov. 4, was claimed and is given an encouraging multiple-level jump by a trainer who looks ready to go on a roll. He loves this course. TALE OF KANTHAROS was a sharp second in a similar spot here Dec. 4. AMELIA’S WILD RIDE ran on well for third here Nov. 9 and may be ready to peak, at a price. (3)

GP 9: OUTSHINE was a good second in a Grade 2 at Tampa last March 9. He then found tough stakes rivals too much to handle but has been freshened, worked well and drops. BENEFACTOR was sharp in the Northeast before a decent fourth in a stakes here Dec. 7. (2)

GG 3: EIGHT O FIVE showed speed before tiring in her debut her Nov. 30 but not only can she benefit from that run, she was facing tougher so the drop helps a bunch. UNDERSTATED BEAUTY has been knocking on the door and may be ready to break through. (2)

GP 10: DONEGAL ACES showed talent Sept. 26 but was eased last time out at Aqueduct Nov. 16. He’s worked well since and takes a big drop. TRUMP’S KITTEN has been knocking on the door and might break through at a price. PERFECT ENOUGH continues his solid form. It might be his turn. (3)

1,7,8 with 1,6,8 with 7,10 with 5,9 with 3,7,11 x $1= $108
