There’s a bunch of win machines in the Grade 2, $364,095 Dash for Cash Futurity on Sunday night at Lone Star Park.

Bad Monkey, the fastest qualifier, One Incredible Hock, the highest earner, and Pyc Painted Streaker, who is undefeated, each will be chasing their fourth straight win. They are part of a field of 10 for the 400-yard race that is one of the highlights of the meet for Quarter Horses.

The Sunday card also features the Grade 2, $135,700 Dash for Cash Derby that drew champion Trump My Record, who boasts a career record of 11 for 14. In addition, the $40,455 Dash for Cash Juvenile matches the stakesplaced filly Greysland and the Doug Scharbauer-owned Famous Chief.

Bad Monkey set the fastest qualifying time for the Dash for Cash Futurity in the first of 11 trials held Sept. 13 at Lone Star. He covered 400 yards in 19.68 seconds and appeared to relish the added ground as he won off by 1 1/4 lengths. Benito Baca was aboard for breeder, owner, and trainer Dean Frey and again has the mount from post 9.

Bad Monkey began his win streak in July, when he won his maiden in a trial race at Ruidoso Downs. He proceeded to capture the $35,000 Ruidoso

Downs Juvenile Challenge on Aug. 29 before making his Lone Star debut in the trials for the Dash for Cash.

Overall, the Californiabred is 3 for 5.

One Incredible Hock has gone 4 for 6 for earnings of $125,975 in his young career, among his efforts a win in the TQHA Sires Futurity on Aug. 29 at Retama Park. He had started his streak in trials for that race Aug. 14 and set the fastest qualifying time in a 2 3/4-length romp. One Incredible Hock continued his streak by winning his trial for the Dash for Cash. He tied for the 10th fastest time, 19.90, and won a shake to get a spot in the finale Sunday.

Nestor Duran has the mount from post 10 for trainer Adrian Huitron.

Pyc Painted Streaker’s perfect record consists of a pair of trial races and the Gillespie County Fair Firecracker Stakes. For the Dash for Cash, he set the second fastest qualifying time of 19.74. Jose Martinez was aboard and has the mount from post 3 for trainer Angel Sanchez.

Trump My Record encountered his fair share of trouble in his trial for the Dash for Cash Derby and closed from last to finish fourth by a half-length. Last year, he led throughout to capture the Grade 1, $1 million Texas Classic Futurity at Lone Star.
