BEST BET: RACE 3, BELLA CIAO

FIRST RACE

CRYSTAL COAST back to turf, drops to softer spot, held own with better despite trouble on several occasions over the course earlier this year. HARDLY SOCIAL showed some promise in only previous outing, sheds shades while back for same tag making local bow with leading jock up.COWORTH PARK logical coming up tagged for first time but didn’t appear to have much excuse in both previous tries and sure to be over-bet considering this red hot jockey/trainer duo.

SECOND RACE

CONVERTER hung late going a bit further last time, gets a little more class relief trying state bred today. One more chance on slight turn back to six panels. BAILEY goes for a tag for initial time off recent freshening back on the farm. Looks like good fit, should be forwardly placed in this spot. MONEY SONG another going up against stae breds for first time. Ran credibly behind subsequent SW Big Thorn in bow.

THIRD RACE

BELLA CIAO, the day’s best, getting ample class relief taking big plunge second off the claim for present connections while returning to a one turn mile this afternoon. Should be along with a little help up front. Stable mate ELUSIVE MOLLY also droopping for cheapest tag yet but trying open claiming company for first time here. Figures part of early mix along with in form INEDATEQUILA who couldn’t be better but facing substantially tougher than she’s defeat in her last three.

FOURTH RACE

IRAZU among a handful of logical contenders in this open but also relatively pace less affair. Broke slog, lugged in at top of stretch, finished full of run in promising turf bow. SHAKEM may have lured Saez off preferred choice while no match for that one, latter stages, of their previous meeting but did encounter traffic issues at mid-stretch. BROADWAY DIVA looks loose on the lead once again, might show more stamina with experience.

Can’t ignore.

FIFTH RACE

AKOR held in willingly enough against vastly tougher in KD finale, a field that included Recoded(see today’s feature race). Drops, worked a bullet for this prior to leaving Kentucky. CLASSY BEAST ran well in two previous trips over the local course, lures Irad, figures forwardly placed throughout. SWEETSWEETSWEET looks like speed of speed if away clean, allowed to show best foot from the rail. Expecting forward move second off the long layoff.

SIXTH RACE

HAN SENSE the big question mark after being vanned off last out at the Spa. Limited work tab but class of field if close to best for this. Will likely have to run down BRASSTOWN who fits conditions of this one pretty well having won the last time on 5/21. GRAN OMERO winless in quite some time after proving G1 caliber in native Venezuela. Improved enough last time to merit some respect on stretch back to a mile.

SEVENTH RACE

APACHE BRAVE earned best Beyer in quite some time taking last in Md. off bullet work, comes in off another big main track drill for this. Should sit nice trip stalking likely pace of speedy MAR VISTA MIGUEL who returned from 11 month hiatus setting pressured pace, weakening late in much needed try last time. Dangerous if able to shake loose early with one under belt. DISCRETIONARY MARQ had little excuse when second best
