FIRST RACE

HERE COMES BULLET did all the dirty work before succumbing to Divert while a pole clear of the others first off the claim for present connections. Need only repeat effort for chalky start to the day. KATHERN’S JOY drops a notch after chasing home runaway winner while necking Dr. Roger for second money, those two also well clear of the others for $16K tag. Addition of Lasix for first time could be a difference maker. MACHO REAL lost all chance slipping heels in latest. Previous outing points him out a player with this bunch.

SECOND RACE

LOUDER THAN BOMBS winless since fall of 2019 but obviously has faced much better than he encounters on drop to this level. Well spotted to get back on winning track if shadow of his old self. SOUTH SEA a game second behind Kaufy Bean who woke up to a career best effort under similar conditions last time. Looks like turf may ultimately prove this one’s preferred surface. SHARM EL SHEIKH comes off what could have been much needed outing. Fits these conditions pretty nicely with most recent win a well graded effort on September 20.

THIRD RACE

GANGLY a four time winner who has been freshened since relatively well graded tally, this distance, with state breds. One of many logicals in here. AIN’T WASTING TIME another with plenty of victories on the resume’ exiting career best effort from a Beyer standpoint for bottom tag. Must prove he can repeat that effort on relatively short rest for new barn off claim. GRAINGER COUNTY a bit conspicuous bu absence since back to back tallies early this spring and from the work tag for the last month but must respect at best in this spot.

FOURTH RACE

GOLDEN DECISION a bit over-matched last time making middle move in what has turned out to be a key race. Returns to level at which he ran solid third two back. Loves the distance. May finally be ready to get back on winning track following prolonged absence. SALUTE THE COLONEL in good form since returning from a one year hiatus late this winter but perhaps a bit of a red flag dropping for this tag off solid Beyer showing last time. GEMONTEER seems off best form of late and another getting some needed class relief. Might hold pace edge here.

FIFTH RACE

BRIELLA no match for C’MON KAREN in their previous meeting but has the speed to be dangerous in the rematch going for new hands off the claim. C’mon Karen back to a bit easier spot and perhaps more suitable distance after hanging a bit vs. better after wide trip last time. BABY LION a game effort in defeat despite trouble first off the claim while showing marked improvement for new barn. Must prove she can repeat that effort with what may be slightly tougher group.

SIXTH RACE

OVERDUE HONOR has shown promise in the a.m., son of Uncle Mo one of only two 4yos against field of younger rivals. Barn can have one ready to win

off the bench. KHOCU comes off far and away his best yet against older rivals and continuing to work well for second start of this form cycle. Might not look back. SINGLE LADY another new face sporting a :46 and change gate work at Palm Meadows prepping for this. Must respect off that drill.

SEVENTH RACE

CASH REFUND got hung wide, could not kick on as even money choice with much better last time. Drops to bottom seeking winning spot. UPTOWN QUEEN necked as even money choice vs. same kind returning from four month hiatus. Should improve off that showing. One to beat. THATS ALL SHEWROTE knocking on the door since switching to grass.

EIGHTH RACE

OMEGA MOON stays put off the claim after failing as odds on choice with same bunch after setting contested pace last time. Posted bullet for this. PLEASE SIT DOWN back to level at which he registered one-sided N2L tally, this distance, to close out 2020 campaign but sporting no published works since last try nearly two months earlier. One to fear but some red flags at the short price. TONS OF GOLD stretches back to preferred distance, not badly beaten for second money by preferred choice in their previous encounter.

NINTH RACE

STRONG HEADED as good as any of the many contenders in this usually wide open category. turns back in distance after a couple of decent showings at nine panels. SOUTH POINTE DRIVE out-finished preferred choice in their previous meeting, continues to be on the fringes at this level. LONG BEACH KID could have pace edge while in very dangerous hands off the claim. Question of whether he can beat his elders here.

TENTH RACE

TROPHY CHASER the class of this field and fastest of the bunch if able to run anywhere near those triple digit Beyer Figures at 4. Grade 3 winners seems to be working forwardly enough to be ready for big showing off bench. PRO QUALITY continues to hold his form extremely well. Fought hard right to the wire facing toughest task yet last time. May prove one to catch if able to out-foot preferred one to early lead. SOLE VOLANTE back to allowance company for first time since defeating Jesus’ Team under somewhat similar conditions during June of 3yo campaign. Stretch running sort will need pace help, must prove mettle with older foes.

ELEVENTH RACE

CHARGES DROPPED among the many logical contenders in wide open 3yo filly stakes. May offer some value stepping off maiden win when showing improvement with addition of blinkers. KARAKATSIE hard to faul off another improved effort when second best in the Honey Rider to Con Lima who validated the effort coming back to win G3 stakes at Belmont. TIK TOK FAMOUS and stable mate Hana Lima both were decisive maiden winners and a pair of lightly raced sorts who figure to move forward from those efforts.

TWELFTH RACE

VELVET ISLE looks like a need the lead type but never given that opportunity after big of a sluggish beginning last time. Gets one more chance to get brave at what could be fair price if breaking cleaner to control this one from the outset. MAY I exits best yet on turf, figures close up throughout stretching out a bit, switching to main track in finale. QUEEN ABARRIO continues to pick up minor awards. Looks capable of doing so once again with this bunch.
