Will Rogers Downs moves into its final week of racing Monday, and the featured $55,000 Cinema is the first of four stakes scheduled for the meet’s final stretch. The season closes Wednesday.

The Cinema is a mile race restricted to 3-year-old fillies bred in Oklahoma. It shares a card with an overnight handicap over 1 3/16 miles, which drew Hold Tight, winner of the $75,000 Bosselman/Fonner Stakes last month at Fonner Park.

The Cinema appears to be a battle between two sharp daughters of Pollard’s Vision in Kachina and Plenty of Vision.

Kachina is looking to go 3 for 3 in her career, while Plenty of Vision seeks to win her fourth consecutive race. The fillies are part of a field of eight, and both are making their stakes debut Monday.

Kachina has registered both of her wins this meet at Will Rogers. She won her debut against open company in a maiden special weight at six furlongs April 19 and defeated older rivals in a first-level allowance at a mile May 10.

Kachina races for her breeder, Kirk Thoroughbreds.

Trainer Kari Craddock, who is winning races at a 27 percent clip this meet at Will Rogers, has given the mount to Jansen Melancon.

Kachina will break from the rail and figures to be up front in the race Monday.

Plenty of Vision also has natural speed. She began her win streak in her fifth start, when she won a maiden special weight over Oklahoma-breds on Nov. 26 at Remington Park. Following some downtime between Oklahoma meets, she returned to action in April at Will Rogers and won a firstlevel allowance against older rivals. Plenty of Vision took down another conditioned allowance at the track May 3. The three wins all came at the mile distance of the Cinema.

Floyd Wethey Jr. has been aboard for all of Plenty of Vision’s victories, and he rides her Monday. Plenty of Vision is owned by Michael Schmidt and trained by Scott Young.

Circle Back Girl is moving back to a mile after winning a sprint at Sam Houston. The one time she ran around two turns, she was third in the $75,000 Slide Show in November at Remington Park. Trainer Martin Villafranco, whose first win came in January at Sam Houston, is looking for his first stakes win Monday. Curtis Kimes has the mount from post 2 for Danny Caldwell.
