MY CRAZY NEIGHBOR got a nice confidence boost two back and then ran evenly in his most recent which came here. Connections keep this guy at this level even though he faced restricted foes only two back. Perhaps that is a good sign. One of two in here for the leading barn.

FOURTH RACE

NOBLE PURSUIT loves these longer distances. He is 3-2-0-0 going 11 furlongs. Forget his most recent as it was washed off. Connections turn him around quickly and we like that almost as much as anything. Win rider stays put and is 21% for team Silva. This gelding just likes to win compared to the place/show (27-11-4-2).

WAR CHEST exits a key race where 2 of 5 returned to win with figs of 71 and 64. This gelding has won two in a row so up the class ladder he goes. Lopez sticks with our top pick so Ulloa gets to be the hero today. This gelding hit the board in both distance tries and gets to save all the early ground today. ZUMURUDEE switched barns and won. Sometimes horses just need a change of scenery. This guy has always liked this sod where he has won four times. The leading rider keeps the faith and is 27% for this barn. SUPER WISE exits a key race where 2 of 4 returned to win with figs of 77 and 83.

FIFTH RACE

INTER MIAMI ran evenly in his most recent and it was his first on this dirt. We bet he improves second time this surface as he should be more acclimated to here. Class drop can only help. This horse is a hard trier and he hails from a barn that shows a flat bet profit with their claimers (team Rhone). MACHO ROCCO seems to love it here. This gelding has some speed but can stalk just as easily. We love this outside post. Connections waste little time finding this guy a race. They are 18% with repeating winners. Win rider stays put as expected. GEAUX YOSHKA returned running off the layoff and ran a Beyer top. New barn is 1 for 3 off the claim. We like that this colt has a recent work. He is a lightly raced 4YO with some upside. He did beat allowance foes on this dirt last summer so today’s restricted foes are well within reach. SIXTH RACE

IT’S ME ran well in her last two starts and both came on this sod and going two turns. Class drop should prove the tipping point as the leading barn calls the shots but they are only 12% going special weight to maiden claimer. A recent bullet work is noted. DR Z’S ELSA just ran a Beyer top and did so in his first race on the green going two turns. Race flow is average so no help there. Barajas knows this filly well. Second time going two turns on the turf can only help.

MARK OF VICTORY goes third off the layoff and has turf experience. She gets to save all the early ground. Who is going to the front in this race? This filly draws the rail but should be content to chase. Second time with Wade up is a plus. DIXIE GIRL TO is by a 2 for 9 debut turf sire. Her dam went 4-0-0-1 on the green for 4K. This is her first grass foal. TATUM’S JOURNEY is by a 0 for 4 debut turf sire. Her dam went 7-1-1-1 on the green for 21K. Lone grass sib is 4-0-0-0. TAMMY MACHO is by a 7% debut turf sire. Her dam never tried the green. One of three sibs won on the grass.
