AMOR LEJANO and UNSOCIABLE no match for in form, even money, gate to wire winner Etnico in their last starts but showed enough to merit plenty of respect for same tag with little to choose between the pair depending upon their respective trps.

EIGHTH RACE

TAP GOLD came off extended vacation, ran to brilliant works to win for third time in five starts over the Tapeta but seems equally adept on grass and came back with another strong a.m. showing off that recent tally. May again stand some catching if able to relax long enough up front despite the class hike. CAPTAIN ANTHONY took the worst of the trips among the group who finished behind

SOCIAL LONG DISTANCE on 2/11 while continuing to hold form nicely from a Beyer standpoint. Obviously a good fit in this condition. The latter a relatively easy winner of this condition two back, just a matter of whether that last one on short rest at Tampa may have emptied the tank a bit as he returns once again on short rest here.

NINTH RACE

JESSAMINE HILL turned in a very promising debut behind runaway winner when off slow, circling wide with bid on final turn launching career over this surface a month earlier. Continues to train forwardly over the surface although interesting that Zayas shows up this time on outsider Luna Love. Main concern the total lack of any real pace in this lineup considering this gal’s running style.

LATTE LIZZIE the class of field returning with maidens after holding own with stakes competition on a couple of occasions to close out 2yo campaign including the Chelsey Flower, a race from which three of the five who have since returned to run won their next starts. Adds Lasix. Strictly one to beat.GILD THE LILY the top one’s uncoupled mate whose last work her best yet. Perhaps she might take advantage of total lack in pace in here, try to steal one on front end at a price off the bench.
