Speak Out

Daily Southtown (Sunday) - - OPINION -

It’s about time. Finally gym classes

havemoved into the 20th century. They’re using spin bikes and other new technology. We are behind countries like Switzerland when it comes to fitness. They have standing desks for children so they can become more fit. We don’t need to take away resources fromschools. We need to invest in our schools and use money for more advanced technology.

I can’t believe the disgusting and disgraceful

comments from all candidates running for all the offices in the state of Illinois. None of these candidates respect their opponents or their opponents’ families. It’s a shame that these candidates have sunk to such depths of disrespectfulness.

We are still having major problems with voting.

Several states are trying to disenfranchise voting by passing laws that are geared at a certain group of people. What can be done? Comply with whatever they ask for. If you come prepared then there is noway they can stop you. If so, take names, badges or whatever and report the incident. Do not get discouraged because then they win.
