Movie showings tell of life with memory impairment

Three films telling stories about life with memory impairment are part of a free outdoor monthly movie series open to the public. Compliment­ary popcorn, candy and beverages will be provided; attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

All shows take place outside Grace Point Place, 5701 W. 101st St., Oak Lawn, with social distancing being observed. The series features:

■ “Still Alice”: A university professor confronts early onset Alzheimer’s disease, 7 p.m., Aug. 25.

■ “50 First Dates”: A playboy romances a woman with short-term memory loss. 7 p.m., Sept. 15.

■ “The Notebook”: A man reads a story about the past to a woman in a nursing home, 6 p.m., Oct. 13.
