HOME BURGLARIZED: Someone broke into a home in the 1300 block of Cedar Road in New Lenox Township and stole a safe, an iPad, two laptops and cash July 31. A neighbor told police he saw an older model black Lincoln sedan in the driveway.

CAR STOLEN: Someone stole a white BMW from a driveway in the 1100 block of North Marley Road in New Lenox Township Aug. 5. The car was unlocked with the key fob inside.

BOAT STOLEN: A man told police a young teenage boy asked the victim to buy him a pack of cigarettes inside the 7-11, 7655 W. Francis Road, in Frankfort Township, Aug. 5. He told the boy no and, when he was leaving the store, he saw his car along with the trailer and bass boat he was pulling being driven out of the parking lot. All three were later recovered on St. Francis Road, west of Harlem Avenue.

BATTERY ARREST: Eugenie Clearly-Lacasse, 50, of the 9400 block of Elm Avenue in Mokena Township, was charged with battery after an Aug. 6 incident at his home, police said.
