“Brook­lyn Nine-Nine” (8 p.m., NBC): Noice! Pulled back from the can­cel­la­tion brink on Fox, the crit­i­cally praised but rat­ings-chal­lenged po­lice com­edy finds a new home on NBC as its sixth sea­son opens with “Hon­ey­moon,” in­volv­ing Jake and Amy (Andy Sam­berg, Melissa Fumero), who tied the knot in the Sea­son 5 fi­nale. Typ­i­cally, how­ever, it “won’t be the hon­ey­moon they think it’s go­ing to be,” Fumero has hinted to re­porters.

“The First 48 Presents: Homi­cide Squad At­lanta” (8 p.m., 12:03 a.m., AE): This new spinoff se­ries fol­lows homi­cide de­tec­tives from the At­lanta Po­lice De­part­ment as they strive to un­tan­gle mys­ter­ies be­hind some of the city’s most grue­some crimes. In the se­ries pre­miere, “Fallen An­gel,” rookie de­tec­tive An­dre Lowe finds al­most no ev­i­dence to work with in his in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the mur­der of a beau­ti­ful teenager, who was found naked and shot to death in an At­lanta park.

“The Se­cret Life of the Zoo” (8 p.m., 11 p.m., 4 a.m., ANIM): In the new episode “Ter­ri­to­rial Chimps,” the ar­rival of a new fe­male throws the Ch­ester Zoo’s 18 chim­panzees into up­heaval, but se­nior keeper Niall is gam­bling that Boris, the elder states­man of this an­i­mal com­mu­nity, will pro­tect the new­comer. Else­where, Kinky Tail, a chee­tah mother, is moved to the zoo’s med­i­cal cen­ter af­ter she be­gins vom­it­ing af­ter ev­ery meal.

“Mom” (8:01 p.m., CBS): The ladies get to­gether for a road trip, but their jour­ney threat­ens to go up in smoke be­cause of Christy’s (Anna Faris) cig­a­rette habit in a new episode called “Hacky Sack and a Beau­ti­ful Ex­pe­ri­ence.” Mean­while, Bon­nie (Al­li­son Jan­ney) of­fers some busi­ness ad­vice to Adam (Wil­liam Ficht­ner) that is both un­so­licited and some­what un­wel­come.

“Fam” (8:30 p.m., CBS): Af­ter years of play­ing tragic story lines as mul­ti­ple char­ac­ters on “The Vam­pire Di­aries,” Nina Do­brev switches gears to com­edy for her role as Clem, who grew up in a dys­func­tional house­hold but now is happy with a col­lege pro­fes­sor fi­ance (Tone Bell) and his ap­prov­ing par­ents (Sh­eryl Lee Ralph, Brian Stokes Mitchell).

“Mar­riage Boot Camp: Re­al­ity Stars” (9 p.m., 12:01 a.m., WE): Sea­son 14 of this re­la­tion­ship se­ries re­volves around the re­al­ity TV world’s sub­set of elite hip hop stars, whose flashy life­styles can only con­ceal ro­man­tic prob­lems for so long. Soulja Boy and Nia Ri­ley may have reached an im­passe be­tween his de­sire to get mar­ried and her need to es­cape from his con­trol­ling im­pulses. Oth­ers in the mix in­clude rap­per Waka Flocka and wife Tammy Rivera, and Lil’ Mo and hubby Karl Dar­gan. Coun­selors Ish Ma­jor and Venus Ni­col­ino are here to lis­ten.
