How-To Fest set at Oak Lawn Public Library

Learn a new skill, try a new activity and check out a variety of topics at Oak Lawn Public Library’s How-To Fest from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 19. This drop-in event is for all ages, but some stations may be geared toward a specific age group. Stations feature local experts, community members and library staff who will share their talents. Topics include: Making chocolate (teens and adults); writing a book (teens and adults); applying makeup (teens and adults); gaming with Extra Life (all ages); lobby demos with library staff (teens and adults); making a craft (teens and adults); creating handmade comic book thought bubbles (all ages); and caring for someone with Alzheimer’s (adults).
