Fundraiser for My Joyful Heart set for Nov. 16 in Orland Park

My Joyful Heart’s Night of a Thousand Lights is from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 16 at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 S. 82nd Ave., Orland Park.

Cost is $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight and includes family-style dinner, dancing, cash bar and 60-plus item silent auction. Prices will go up after Nov. 11 so get yours today.

My Joyful Heart is a nonprofit organization that provides both life’s necessities and encouragement to Chicagoland’s children and teens.

“This is our largest fundraiser that will carry us through the first quarter of the new year,” said Diane Carroll, founder and executive director of My Joyful Heart. “There are so many kids that need help in order to thrive. Night of a Thousand Lights will enable children and teens to receive gift packages five times a year.”

Currently, My Joyful Heart helps over one thousand youth and teens. The goal is to assist more.
