WATCH THIS: WEDNESDAY
“Marrying Millions” (9:03 p.m., 1:04 a.m., Lifetime): This hit docuseries, which looks at couples wherein the partners come from vastly different socioeconomic classes, opens Season 2 with fan-favorite Season 1 couples Bill and Brianna from Dallas and Las Vegas pair Gentille and Brian joined by five new couples. Among the newbies: Washington, D.C., wine millionaire Rodney and his Los Angeles girlfriend Desiry, who works for a non-profit.
“Coroner” (8 p.m., CW): This Canadian import, adapted from a book series by M.R. Hall, stars Serinda Swan as Toronto coroner Dr. Jenny Cooper. Recently widowed, Jenny has a teenage son, Ross (Ehren Kassam), who is still mourning his late father. On the job, Jenny works with homicide detective Donovan McAvoy (Roger Cross); Dr. Dwayne Allen (Lovell Adams-Gray), a pathologist, and his assistant, River Baitz (Kiley May). Eric Bruneau also stars. In the premiere, “Black Dog,” Jenny investigates a death in a teenage detention center.
“Forged in Fire” (8 p.m., 11:03 p.m., History): In what is being billed as the first-ever pay-to-play competition in this show’s history, four smiths are expected to fork over some of their forge funds to secure the special tools they need to make certain signature blades. Two rounds later, a couple of the smiths are bankrupt, while the other two return home to re-create the Boateng Saber, the most expensive sword ever sold. One smith will prevail, winning $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire champion. David Baker, Doug Marcaida, J. Neilson and Ben Abbott are the judges. Wil Willis hosts.
“Corporate” (9:30 p.m., 10:45 p.m., Comedy Central): If the charm of working from home during quarantine is wearing thin, this critically acclaimed workplace sitcom may help by reminding just how soul-crushing and grim office life can be — all from a caustic comedy perspective, of course. In the new episode “The Importance of Talking S...,” the staff at Hampton DeVille gossip and take passive-aggressive approaches to workplace conflicts, while also creating unlikely bonds and new adversaries alike. Matt Ingebretson, Jake Weisman, Lance Reddick and Anne Dudek star.
