Knights of Columbus awards scholarship

Mount Greenwood-based Father Perez Knights of Columbus Council 1444 awarded a $1,000 scholarship to DanielMorris, the son of Janel and Deacon Robert Morris, during a recent council meeting. Deacon Morris is assigned to St. Gabriel Parish in Canaryville.

Daniel Morris was one of eight students who competed for three scholarships. Daniel matriculated to St. Rita of Cascia in the fall, where he plans to play football and basketball.
