“Hansel& Gretel: Witch Hunters”

(7 p.m., AMC): Children grow up ... and if they were treated like these two, revenge surely might be on their adult agenda. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton play the siblings in this highly revisionist fairy-tale update, which gives them quite an arsenal to use in vanquishing witches. One (Famke Janssen) who preys upon youngsters prompts Hansel and Gretel to explore some painful family history. Peter Stormare also appears.
