“The Christmas Caroler Challenge” (7 p.m., CW): Dean Cain and Laura McKenzie co-host this new season of the caroling competition event series, which unfolds as three two-hour episodes. The program showcases 10 exceptional caroling groups, each with its own stylized brand of performing, and introduces viewers to some of the very diverse human stories for each musical group, whose performances will be evaluated by three celebrity judges.

“MacGyver” (7 p.m., CBS): In a new episode called “Thief & Painting & Auction & Viro-486 & Justice,” one of Taylor’s (Henry Ian Cusick) former protegés is killed while trying to keep a deadly bio-weapon from falling into the wrong hands. Now, Mac (Lucas Till) and his team must find the weapon so Desi (Levy Tran) can execute what may be the ultimate heist before the lethal article is sold to a terrorist cell. Sebastian Roche, Aimee Mullins and Ian Hunter guest star.

“Disney Channel Holiday House Party” (7 p.m., 9:55 p.m., Disney): Miranda May (“Bunk’d”) hosts this new special in which popular Disney Channel stars perform (remotely, from their own homes) a half-hour of holiday sketch comedy. Sketches involve a Gen Z influencer’s take on a classic Charles Dickens tale and a “High School Musical” throwback. Scheduled to appear are Raphael Alejandro, Suzi Barrett, Issac Ryan Brown, Kylie Cantrall and Tobie Windham.

“My Lottery Dream Home” 7 p.m., 2 a.m., HGTV): Viewers who still are waiting to hit the jackpot get some help beating the pandemic blues from superstar designer David Bromstad, who shows fans how to achieve the holiday decor of a lottery winner, but on a realistic budget. Bromstad transforms a living room into a stunning Christmas tree forest and adorns a home’s exterior with razzle-dazzle.

“Inn Love by Christmas” 7 p.m., 11:01 p.m., Lifetime): Mandy’s grandmother insists that she take a break from her career in the Miami hotel industry and spend Christmas in her rustic hometown up north. In addition to making her grandma happy, Mandy has an ulterior motive for the visit: She wants to acquire a quaint inn for her company.

“Tyler Perry’s A Made a Christmas” 7 p.m., TBS): In this 2013 holiday comedy, screenwriter, director, producer and star Tyler Perry reprises his broadly comic drag character Madea, who accompanies her niece, Eileen, to the small town of Buck Tussel to pay a surprise visit to Eileen’s daughter, Lacey. The latter has refused to come home for Christmas, mainly to avoid telling her judgmental mother that she has secretly married Connor, a white classmate from college. Anna Maria Horsford, Tika Sumpter, Eric Lively and Kathy Najimy also star.
