CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Cornelis Gilbert, 40, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and accused of burglary to a motor vehicle, two counts of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle and one count of resisting a peace officer after a May 5 incident in the 22200 block of Howell Drive in New Lenox Township, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Robert Styx, 58, of the 300 block of Windemere Way, Matteson, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance May 6 in the 7200 block of U.S. 30 in Frankfort Township, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Someone stole a 2015 Toyota from a driveway in the 9300 block of Magnolia Avenue in Frankfort Township on May 8.

STOLEN CAR: Police said someone stole a 2018 Kia Sportage from a driveway in the 9400 block of Elm Avenue in Frankfort Township on May 10.

COUNTERFEI­T CASH: An unknown man used a counterfei­t $100 bill to purchase a pizza at Pizza Mia in the 19800 block of Harlem Avenue in Frankfort Township on May 12, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A woman in the 1900 block of South Anderson Road told police someone driving a fake ComEd truck entered her home and stole $150 from her purse on May 14.

BURGLARY: Someone stole an enclosed trailer with a hydraulic lift from a home in the 29000 block of Stoney Island in Washington on May 1.

HIT AND RUN: John Freeman, 45, of Boulder, Colorado, was arrested and accused of leaving the scene of an accident, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane usage May 4 at County Line Road and Ridgeland Avenue in Peotone Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anthony Burton, 30, of the 400 block of Talala Street, Park Forest, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, disobeying a traffic light, improper lane usage and no insurance May 13 at Governor’s Highway and Stuenkel in Crete Township, police said.
