The Truth Will Out
Acorn TV ■ Season Premiere
In the second season of this Swedish crime drama, Peter Wendel’s (Robert Gustafsson) understaffed Cold Case Unit has barely risen in the ranks at the police station since Season 1, but everything changes when a colleague is suddenly found dead. The officer’s death triggers a chain of events that will reveal that a high-ranking police commissioner, known for his work against sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and violence against women, is living a double life in which he exploits, rapes and degrades young women and children. The investigation also raises doubts about whether Peter’s brother — who was a close friend of the deceased victim — actually took his own life. Was he in fact murdered? All five
episodes are available today.
