Oak Hill Academy started fast and never looked back to secure a victory over North Delta Academy on Thursday.

The Raiders are not satisfied however. After defeating the Green Wave, Oak Hill has back to back sweeps to improve to Class 4A, District 1 play.

It has been an impressive run in the district for the Raiders, but head coach Bobby Permenter sees room for improvement.

Permenter was focused on how his team can minimize mistakes and play better as both individuals and as a team.

During Thursday's action, Oak Hill scored four runs in the first inning, which forced North Delta to an early pitching change. The Raiders didn't let up as they scored another six runs in the second and third innings to establish a strong 10-0 lead.

The visiting Green Wave from Batesville didn't fold and were able to bring in five runs in the fourth inning to get something going.

Oak Hill's Cameron Dill entered the game in relief of Colin Boyd and pitched the Raiders out of a jam with two big strikeouts.

With the help of a solo home run by Garrett Edwards, Oak Hill scored two runs in the fifth inning. It was the second home run in three games for Edwards against North Delta.
