Richard James Campbell, Sr.

Richard Campbell, Sr., of West Deptford, NJ, formerly from Linwood, PA, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on the morning of October 20, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen, two sons, Richard, Jr (Sherry) of Louisiana and Scott (Angela) of Bellingham, Washington, and his Grandsons, Jacob, Jordan, Hunter, Jackson and Braden. He is also survived by extended family Paul Cutrufello (Staci), Steve Cutrufello (Joanna), Maria Tavener (Matt) and five additional grandchildren. Rich is one of 11 children and is survived by four brothers, Michael, David, Patrick, and Ripper and six sisters, Joanne, Terri, Irene, Dottie, Maryann and Rosie. There are also many nieces, nephews, their spouses and children. He was predeceased by his first wife, Bonnie Campbell (Frazier) and his parents, Edward and Dorothy Campbell.

Rich was a long time Delaware County resident, graduated St. James in 1966, served in the U.S. Army and worked at both Congoleum and Boeing. Rich loved family, friends, music and dancing.

Rich returned to Bellingham, Washington for his burial on Wednesday, October 28th.

Please join the family at a Celebration of Life being held on Sunday, November 15th, from 1:00 – 4:00 at the St. James Alumni Clubhouse, 1499 E. 9th Street, Crum Lynne, PA 19022. There will be a short service at 1:30 and the rest of the time will be remembering the great memories and good times we each shared with Rich.
