“Sniping,” a pastime condemned even in war-harried Europe, has broken out in Chester, with Mrs. John Watson as the victim. Mr. Watson reported to the police yesterday that a shot was fired the night before through the kitchen window of his home at 1121 W. Ninth St. The leaden missile crashed through the pane, struck the stovepipe, glanced, and then struck Mrs. Watson’s head. By that time the velocity of the bullet was quite spent and Mrs. Watson suffered no injury beyond a stinging pain.
