-

With 8 minutes, 42 seconds left in the game Thursday, it looked like a safe bet that Rowan was going to keep its perfect record intact. The Profs had a 14- point lead on Cabrini and appeared to be in total control.

The Cavaliers, though, weren’t about to become victim No. 12 and didn’t.

Meghan Martin poured in a game-high 28 points as Cabrini rallied for a 77-75 victory in overtime in the Cabrini Classic.

The Cavaliers (5-6) went on a 18-4 run to close the quarter and send the game into overtime and then scored the first six points in the extra session to hand the Profs (11-1) their first loss of the season. Martin hit a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter to force overtime and then scored eight points in the extra session to seal the victory.
