Robert F. Rothacker, age 82

Robert F. Rothacker, age 82 of Aldan, PA died on December 31, 2015. Born to the late Chas Fred & Rose Genevive Urban Rothacker, he was raised in Schenectady, New York.

Mr. Rothacker has resided in Aldan, PA for almost 60 years. After graduating from Lansdowne Aldan High School, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of his own business, Frames-n-Things in Collingdale, PA for 30 years until his retirement. In his early years, he was a Zone Manager at the Bulletin newspaper in Philadelphia until its closing in 1982. Robert had a passion for fishing, especially at the Outer Banks, he also enjoyed playing cards, camping and spending time with his family and grandchil- dren. He will be sadly missed by his cat, Humphrey.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Thorpe Rothacker who died in 2004. He is survived by 4 children, Debora (Timothy) Langille, Karen (George) Hoopes, Robert Rothacker Jr. and Sandra (Bruce) Miller, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, where friends may call from 10-11 AM. Interment private.
