Charles D. ‘Chuck’ Poole, 84

Charles D. “Chuck” Poole, age 84, of Boothwyn, PA died on January 1, 2016. Born to the late Charles & Gladys Poole in Chester, PA, he resided in Boothwyn since 1997. Previously, Chuck resided in North Wilmington, DE, Aston, PA and Jacksonville, FL.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania Military College and then served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed by Sun Oil in the Accounting Dept. and later owned & operated his own dry cleaning business in Jacksonville, FL. After his retirement, he was employed by Maris Grove in the transportation division.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Gloria Koser, Peggy Murphy and Barbara Stokes. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann Poole (nee) Ricci; a daughter, Debbie Adams; a sister, Mildred Wilson, several grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 10:30 AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA where friends may call from 9:15-10:15 AM. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
