Samson Berry III, 76

Samson Berry III, age 76, a lifetime resident of Havertown.

Sam worked for PECO for 25 years in the Fire Safety Department. He was a member of Bon Air Fire Company for 57 years serving as every line officer including Chief of the Fire Company. He also served on the Board of Directors for many years. Sam also was School Bus Driver for Haverford Township, He loved the kids and they loved him. He was a Civil War Enthusiast. He was a man of deep faith and a longtime member of the Green Church formerly Drexel Hill Baptist Church.

He was the beloved husband of the late Lula (nee Martin). Brother of Ken, Guy A., Martha Swope and Linda L. Vaughn. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday evening from 6;00-8:00 PM AT THE FRANK C. VIDEON FUNERAL HOME SPROUL AND LAWRENCE ROADS BROOMALL, followed by his Funeral Service at 8:00 PM.
