UPPER DARBY >> The Pennsylvania State Police confirmed Tuesday that the human remains found in Rid- ley Creek State Park on Jan. 1 are not Amanda De Guio.

De Guio, 25, of Drexel Hill, was reported missing in June 2014 and been found.

State Trooper John O’Donnell provided details of the remains described as a white female in her late teens to late 20s. She was roughly 63 inches tall with a slender build. She had prominent teeth and jaw and had either light brown or blonde hair. She wore a size 9 shoe.

“The dental records of Amanda De Guio, the 2014 missing woman from Upper Darby, were compared to the human remains found

has

never Jan. 1,” O’Donnell stated in a news release. “De Guio is not the woman who was recovered from Ridley Creek State Park.”

Nicole De Guio, 26, was elated to hear that the body wasn’t her sister.

“It’s not my sister so we will just continue the search for Amanda,” Nicole said. “This is such a relief. It’s been a nightmare these last four days. I plan to continue to raise awareness about Amanda. I know she’s out there. I just feel it in my heart. Maybe she’s scared, maybe she’s embarrassed but we just want her to know if she’s reading this that we love her and want her to come home. My hope is that someone somewhere sees her.”

Amanda is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has several tattoos, an image of Italy and the word “Tommy” on the right side of her rib cage, the letters “MF” on the inside of her lower lip and the letters “SC” on her left ring finger.
