Stephen F. White, “Little Edgar”, age 50

Stephen F. White, “Little Edgar”, age 50, from Norwood, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2016 surrounded by his family. Stephen was a 1983 graduate of Interboro High School where he was a star athlete in both football and baseball.

He worked for 23 years at the Navy Yard and the Norwood Post Office, and recently he worked for American Airlines and part-time at Home Depot.

Stephen was also a standout softball player, playing in various Delco leagues over the years, and making many friends along the way. He was UNFORTUNATELY a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Above all Stephen loved his family, especially his kids.

He is predeceased by his father, John White, and his grandparents Isabella and Edgar Steube.

Survivors include, his wife, Mary Jean W hite, children, Kyle and Melissa White, parents, Walt and Barb Macfeat, 2 brothers, Jake (Dolores) White, Tommy (Maryanne) White. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, 1 great niece, and his cat, Josie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, from 7-9pm and Saturday from 9:3010:45am at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike Norwood, Pa. 19074

His funeral Service will be Saturday, 11:00am, at Cavanagh’s followed by burial at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Pa.
