Red Cross announces September blood donation dates
The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are teaming up to offer a free haircut coupon to those who come out to donate blood or platelets during September. Those who come out to give blood or platelets Sept. 1-30 receive a coupon for a free haircut via email several days after their donation. The coupon is valid through Nov. 6, 2016, at participating Sport Clips locations, and donors must have a valid email address on record to receive the coupon.

Seniors meet in Upper Chichester

Over 50 club resumes
SPRINGFIELD >> Saint Francis Over 50 Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, September through June, in Leonard Hall on the church grounds, 136 Saxer Ave. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.; meetings start at 1:15.
