The government needs to put a $15 tax on sugary drinks and all that sugar stuff they’re pushing. Sugar is a deadly drug and people young and old are making their own medical problems by drinking this stuff.

Barack Obama and his wife live in a dream world in a great big bubble. How can he say that the country is better off economically, stronger militarily and respected around the world? He single-handedly put this country on a path of distraction. And I don’t know how Michelle can say that there was hope for the country while he was in office but now with the upcoming presidency of Donald Trump it’s gone. Her husband has to got to go down in the history as a worst president in American history.

I see where Michelle Obama told Oprah Winfrey when asked “what did she think what’s going to happen with the next president” she said all hope is leaving America. That’s a below-the-belt comment for an outgoing first lady as far as I’m concerned. OLD TIMER ON OXFORD ROAD

If all you Democrats are so smart and us Republicans are so stupid, how come you couldn’t get your candidate elected? The White House is going to be Republican, the House and Senate are led by Republicans, and Republicans keep picking up governorships. It keeps going on and on and on. If your Democratic Party is so smart, how come you can’t win?

I agree with other callers that Donald Trump is an unfit egomaniac and not going to help this country at all, but I’ll give him one thing: He kept saying he thought election was going to be rigged, and guess what? He was sending a message. He knew it was rigged for him by his friend Putin. He used some sleight of hand to distract from where the real rigging was happening and the country fell for it.
