REALITY LIFE

The next meeting between the Democrats and Republicans should appear on “The Jerry Springer Show,” right where they belong.

WHAT ABOUT CHI?

Congratulations to the students and staff at Chichester High School for their great performance of “Beauty and the Beast.” There was such great talent that was never publicized in your paper. Why doesn’t the Times cover our schools like you do on the other end of the county? We have such a great talent that never gets in our district that never gets my reported on. Congratulations again to the Chichester High School kids. PROUD CHI RESIDENT

WE ARE NOT STUPID

It’s really getting very old when people in Sound Off, people on Facebook and almost every other outlet you can name think that just because we support Donald Trump we are stupid. We have our opinions just like everybody else has their opinions. It doesn’t make us stupid and them smart. That’s why people have opinions. You know what, people, stop calling us stupid. We’re no stupider than you are.

COUNT THE SYLLABLES

To “How It Happened,” it’s funny how you can swap out “last November” with “November 2008” in your garbled, pseudo-intellectual rant and it would make just as much sense. If you want to talk attention spans, at least “Make America Great Again” has a couple multi-syllable words, as opposed to the monosyllabic nonsense of “hope,” “change,” “just words?” and “yes, we can.”

DEFINE ‘TRUTH’

To “Take Him Out,” the problem is that the core idea that has destroyed the Democratic Party since the 1960s is postmodernist nonsense about how there are no universal truths. Therefore, rogue nations who hate us aren’t our enemies, they’re just “people with political differences.” Just watch, people will be calling in saying that Trump is no different than Kim Jong Un.

WHAT, US WORRY?

“Take Him Out” says that “you negotiate with a mad man by taking away the tools he has it can make him hurt other people.” So I guess that means that we have to take the nuclear codes away from Donald Trump, because he is just as a big a madman as Kim Jong Un.

LOVE THOSE FREEBIES

Since our left-leaning friends in Sound Off always claim to be so smart, I’m surprised “Bill From Wayne” would ask why if Obamacare is so bad are thousands of people would protest in favor of it. Think about it, “Bill,” if you were getting fully or largely subsidized health insurance thanks to that legislation, would you want it taken away? My insurance has gotten worse and worse since the ACA went into effect and the same goes for most Americans. Get your head out of the sand, “Bill.”

UNFAIR TO TRUMP

Saturday was a mega-march for Trump, and in Philadelphia the people that were for Trump were asked to disperse because they were so many any anti-Trump people causing a problem. The Trump group had permits, and protesters that we’re protesting them do not have permits. I don’t think it’s fair. There is something wrong with this.

AND THEY CLING TO GUNS

“Don’t Ask Me” is upset a poll came out that was taken supposedly in all the big cities and not in rural areas. Well, the fact is the people in rural areas are not very well educated and overall not very bright, and, of course, these are all the people that voted for Donald Trump.

TRYING FOR BALANCE

To the callers who trying to say “the CBO is nonpartisan group: I’m not saying CBO is pushing a partisan agenda, but remember how wrong they were in their underestimation of the cost of Obamacare? Maybe they were trying to balance things out this time and getting a little overzealous with it. JUST SAYING

GET OVER IT

“A Free Pass” is another one that isn’t satisfied that that numbskull Donald Trump is president, they still have the whine and cry about Hillary Clinton. Get a life.
