Stephen M. Cooke

Stephen M. Cooke, age 58, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Sharon Hill, PA, died suddenly on Monday, March 27, 2017. Stephen was employed with Long Publishing for many years. He enjoyed fishing and going to Ocean City and Marmora Beaches, NJ. Stephen was an avid Phillies fan.

Brother of the late Robert W. Cooke, who died in 1971.

Survivors: Loving Parents: Robert and Ann Schied Cooke. Wife: Janice Robertson Cooke and her children, Michael, Stacey and Lindsey. Daughter: Jennifer M. (Jose Garcia) Cooke. Son: Stephen R. (Danielle) Cooke. Sister: Robin (Wayne) Merkle. Brothers: Mark (Barbara) Cooke and Adam Cooke. Grandchildren: Elliot, Juniper and Georgia. Former wife and friend: Colleen Tustin Gorman. Also survived by nieces and nephews, who considered him to be their “favorite uncle”.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 3rd at 11:00AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Visitation: Monday, April 3rd from 9:30-10:30AM at the Minshall ShropshireBleyler Funeral Home, Ltd. Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
