Kirby Miller Eisenhart

Kirby Miller Eisenhart, age 99 of Media, PA, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017, a day before her 100th birthday.

Born and raised in Springfield, MA, Kirby was a graduate of Commerce High School. She attended Widener University for two years after completing a 25 year career as a legal secretary in Media. Kirby was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She made beautiful handicrafts and was an outstanding cook. Kirby’s prime interest was her children. She practically raised them herself and made sure that they went to college and married the right person!

Kirby was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Nicholas Miller; her husband, Wynne Eisenhart; her siblings, El Vera Butler and Vernon Miller; and her daughter, Betsy Hirsch.

She is survived by her sons, John & Linda Eisenhart of New Hampshire and Bill & Maryann Eisenhart of Aston, PA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three nieces, Judy, Laurel & Muriel. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Granite Farms Estate’s auditorium, with the funeral luncheon immediately following. 1343 W. Baltimore Pk., Media, PA 19063.
