ANSWER TO OUR PRAYERS

So Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, is going to forge peace in the Middle East, cure the opioid epidemic and re-invent the government. Maybe when he’s done all that he can come to Philadelphia and become general manager of the Phillies, too. IT’S A MADHOUSE

WHAT A ‘BEAUTY’

I went to the Catholic Community Choir’s production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at Cardinal O’Hara High School last week and it was wonderful. The costumes and scenery were all handmade, and acting and direction were wonderful. Every year they put on these plays and people should really going to see

it because they are fabulous productions.

BET ON IT

When’s the governor going to rein in the lotto’s budget for advertising and the cost and introducing of new scratch-offs every week, taking money away from all the great programs that the lotto was supposed to pay for seniors? JUST WONDERING DAN

THERE IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD

I’m just calling to say that there are some really good people left in this world. I witnessed an accident on Saturday in Broomall on Sproul Road. A woman had hit a telephone pole and the people who got out of their cars to help this woman until the police and the ambulance

got there were totally amazing. If people don’t think people aren’t good anymore, they should have been there Saturday. A Federal Express guy ran into his truck to get a fire extinguisher; a young girl held the woman’s hand until the ambulance got there. It was amazing. I’m so proud to live in Delco.

SAUL WHO?

To our leftist friends in Sound Off who keep saying to stop bringing up Saul Alinsky: I’m sitting here with my copy of “Rules for Radicals,” and on page 86 it says you should sham, mock and ridicule at all cost your opponent. That’s why these callers and others around the country call people stupid and slander everyone who holds a different view than them – it’s right out of the book on radicalism.

THE GOP AGENDA

Yes, “Bob From Sharon Hill,” I am for dirty air and dirty water for my grandkids. Also, I’m for throwing granny over to cliff and when it comes to Medicare, let’s cut out Medicare. “Bob,” let’s face it – democratic socialists and capitalists will never see eye-to-eye on anything. PAY UP

You always hear people complaining about the health care system in United States. So to all the people who are against the single-payer system: You never hear anybody in the countries with a singlepayer system complaining

about their health care. So if a single-payer system is so bad, I’m sure you would hear people in the countries who have singlepayer complaining about it.

LIFE WITH DONALD

When Barack Obama was nominated by the Democrats of run for president, I could not believe the American people would elect a radical left-winger who nothing more than a community organizer with no experience. They did, and while I didn’t like it I accepted it. But the difference between me and the Democrats is you learn to accept defeat, even if it even if it makes you sick your stomach. So, the reason of this call is to say to the Democrats: Get over it. Hillary Clinton did not win the presidency, Donald Trump is the president

and you’re going to have to live with it for at least four years, and hopefully eight years. Grow up and stop acting like a temper tantrum-throwing, spoiled brat who always wants to get his way.

WE’RE STILL HERE

Al Gore puts out a movie, “An Inconvenient Truth,” and in it he says the world will disappear in 10 years. He’s a global climate change alarmist. So 11 years later, he puts out a sequel to it. What’s wrong with that picture?

COUNT THE LOSSES

North Korea fires off missiles. Syria gasses its citizens. There are terror attacks in London. Repealing Obamacare went belly up. I thought we were supposed to be so tired of winning by this point.
