OFF THE WHEELS

I hope the Phillies don’t think firing Wheels and replacing him with these new guys they have now was an improvement. JEANETTE G.

JERSEY BOYS

To the callers arguing about cutting the national debt: Did we ever find out how many tax dollars got burned on the FBI chasing down Tom Brady’s missing jersey?

GOD BLESS DONNIE

What was the last good idea that the Democrats had? None. Everything Trump says, they say, “Yeah, us need to. We want jobs, too.” Yet they don’t put out any jobs bills. I saw this week that Trump was meeting with unions and national building trades. The man’s sincere that he wants to put America back to work. All this Russian nonsense is another ploy from the Democrats to trash his presidency.

LAUGH A MINUTE

Well, I see we lost another great comedian – Don Rickles. I put “Mr. Warmth” up there with Flip Wilson, Ernie Kovacs, Henry Youngman and the rest of the greats. They were the best. God bless them all. I really will miss them. BLAST FROM THE PAST

BRANDING IRON

The Phillies home opener got me thinking: Has anybody ever done a study on corporate sponsorship of ball parks, stadiums, arenas, etc.? Has anyone switched their banking to Citizens Bank because of Citizens Bank Park? Did anybody ever go to Staples instead of Office Depot because Kobe Bryant put a triple-double the night before? I’d really like to see what the return on investment is for getting your name on ballpark or stadium is – maybe 0.0001 or something like that?

THOSE ROTTEN KIDS

Here’s a question: When you were growing up, how often did you go into your dad’s wallet or your mother’s pocketbook and take out money and go down to the store and buy something, or how often did you pull out their credit card and, you know, go down to the store and charge some stuff up? Never, right? I couldn’t imagine the beating I’d get. But now I see that Amazon can refund if your kids have bought stuff using their parents’ card credit. This shows you what is wrong with this country. How can this become such a problem? People don’t discipline their kids any more. People aren’t this what it really is – stealing. I shudder the thought of what’ll happen when these kids get in positions of power. WHAT’S TO BECOME OF US

SEE YA, TONY

Well, I guess they’re going to cancel the National Football League season this year because Tony Romo retired. Watching the sports channels this week, you’d think Romo was a combination of Otto Graham, Terry Bradshaw and Tom Brady. Tony Romo’s greatest achievement was going to Mexico with Jessica Simpson. They’re not going to change the Davey O’Brien Award to the Tony Romo Award. CALM DOWN

RULES ARE RULES

“Sorry, Seniors” is just another clueless rightwinger that doesn’t seem to get it. “People have to live within their means,” they say. But what about the Pentagon? This year, the Pentagon this year is getting another $50 billion on top of their already bloated budget. Why doesn’t the Pentagon have to live within their means?

TARGET: BARRY

As the news media and the Democrats try to connect the dots between Russia and Trump organization, I think that unfortunately for them the dots are going to lead back to Obama and his cronies and minions.

SMOKE IT OUT

To “Where’s The Smoke?,” the fact is that Michael Flynn wants immunity because he doesn’t want to be found guilty of any misdoings leading up to his swearing in. However, if you follow the real news, you’ll notice that the last administration has been spying on the Trump camp and everybody involved with him for over a year, dating back to last January. Your Democratic senators are saying the same thing. So watch the real news and check the investigations; you’ll find out that the real problem isn’t Trump administration, the real problem is what last administration has done and is still doing.
