Mr. Kenneth R. Talley
Mr. Kenneth R. Talley, 72, died on June 2, 2017, at Crozer Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, PA.
Mr. Talley was born in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. He was a resident of Folsom for the past 40 years.
He was the owner of the 1912 Bar in Philadelphia for 40 years before retiring in 2003. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and reserves during the Vietnam War era. In his younger years, Mr. Talley enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a gun enthusiast.
He is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Jeff) Chesney and Deborah (Paul Beane) Talley, one son, Michael (Krista) Talley, a stepson, Zeke Boileau, a sister, Doris (Peter) Grey, his loving first wife, MaryAnn Talley, 7 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Deborah (nee Long) Talley and his parents Michael J. and Margaret (nee Boyle) Talley.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, after 6:00 PM at the Kovacs Funeral Home, Inc., 530 W. Woodland Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 until the time of his funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
