White, a former Phillies firstbaseman and a Yankees broadcaster for 18 years, credited Werndl for getting him into broadcasting.

Terri Turner, a state champion runner from Penn Wood, and Tommy Toal, a record-setting quarterback and outstanding baseball player from The Haverford School, were recipients of the Bo and Kelly Ryan Awards outstanding scholar-athletes.
Riley Dolan, an All-Delco field hockey player and valedictorian at Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast, received the Andy Talley Humanitarian Award.
Springfield’s Andrew Todaro, an All-Central League golfer and baseball player, took home the Agnes Stegmuller Memorial Award.

The ARC of Delaware County Award went to Jonathan Nowaczyk, who is legally blind but has competed in Challenger Baseball and Special Olympics volleyball and soccer.
The Eddie Coyle Award for physically challenged athletes went to 10-year-old Jack Cunningham, who had both legs amputated but has competed in soccer, swimming and track and field for St. Francis School in Springfield.
The Special Olympics Award went to F. Gilman “Jake” Spencer, who has competed in swimming, equestrian, tennis, golf, bowling, soccer and basketball since the age of seven.
John “Duke” Snyder received the Doug Connelly Memorial Award for his years of working with the Upper Darby High Marine Corps physical fitness team, which has finished second in the national championship meet in San Diego three times.
