Marie Miele Ronayne

Marie Miele Ronayne of Bryn Mawr, PA and Tequesta, FL passed away suddenly on July 2, 2017. A true force of nature, Marie left her presence felt wherever she went.

She graduated from Merion Mercy Academy where she won academic and mischief awards. She also graduated from Gwynedd Mercy College and Widener University. This clearly prepared her for over 30 years in education where she taught at St. Denis School and Nether Providence Elementary. An avid golfer, she longed to be on either Tequesta and Llanerch Country Clubs everyday.

Loved by her husband Frank, her son Scott, and too many friends to mention, she will be missed for her sense of humor, her forceful personality, and her rubber chickens gifted out to break the ice.

Roman Catholic services will be held in both FL and PA. A viewing and Mass was held at St. Jude’s Church, 204 US Highway One, Tequesta, FL 33469 at 11:00 AM 2017.

A viewing in PA will be held at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 Wednesday, July 12 2017 6:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM where friends may greet the family at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
