I think that Sound Off should be eliminated from the paper. It’s a total waste of space. It contains people whining and belly aching just because things aren’t going their way. GET RID OF IT
NOT A SEQUEL
I noticed in “Other Times” this week it said that “Bastille Day” is a “sequel to our Independence Day.” I don’t believe that to be true at all. It’s the equivalent of our Independence Day. It would not be a sequel of our Independence Day. EDDIE O.

I like that these callers are complaining about the format shifting at WOGL, yet they clearly listen to it to know what they’re playing. Is this like when Howard Stern was at the peak of his controversy and half his listeners were fans and half were opponents listening to have something to get outraged about?

Did you ever noticed how when the Congress has to pass something ridiculous like National Penguin Day or National Day to Honor This Organization, it’s almost always unanimous? They vote for things that don’t mean anything. National Day of the Kangaroo, National Ice Cream Day, National Sister Day. But with health care, they don’t have a clue. They don’t understand there’s millions of people in this country that are going bankrupt because they can’t afford their health care. But when elections come up, they have all their talking points down. But in the meantime, it’ll be delayed for months on end.

I see there have been a few trash talk days in Sound Off lately. The only thing Democrats can do is trash talk, turn to violence, go to the street and riot. That’s the playbook; they have no ideas. Well, for his second term he won 49 out of 50 states, so he must’ve been doing something right. So that kind of makes you look like the stupid one. And here once again this week they’re talking about people are concerned that Russia may have influenced the election. Fine. I’ll give him that I won’t give them that they did it; I’ll give him their concerns. But like I’ve called in before, nobody seems to be concerned if a bunch of multi-millionaires from California send money to Pennsylvania to affect our elections. There is no difference between somebody from this country doing that and the Russians doing the same thing. There is no difference except for the word “Russian” and the word “American.” Let’s talk about the whole thing. I don’t like Donald Trump at all, but he has a point about fake news.
