Super Sunday street sale in downtown Media Sept. 10
MEDIA» Delco News Network presents Super Sunday in Media 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 10, along State Street and Veterans Square in Media. Over 150 vendors line the streets, offering crafts, antiques and collectibles. Many of Media’s restaurants are open, including Margaret Kuo’s, Dos Gringo’s and Stephen’s.
Due to borough ordinances, no pets are permitted during this event. Town Talk staff collects donations for the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief fund at its booth at State and Jackson Streets.

MEDIA » The sixth annual Media FREEMarket is set for 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at Providence Friends Meeting, 105 N. Providence Road.
Guests can bring something, take something, either or both:
• Bring skills and talents by playing a song (acoustic only), giving a massage, reading a poem, juggle, read tarot cards, or challenge other guests with chess skills.
• Bring food, whether savory, sweet or extra eggs from a hens.
• Bring stuff from a cleaning out a house, shed, car, office, basement, garage sale leftovers, or share hand mades.
No goods may be brought after 4 p.m. Do not bring chemicals, TVs, electronics or very large pieces like couches or mattresses.

EDGMONT » Professional and amateur photographers are encouraged to enter a photography contest documenting the beauty of Edgmont and rewarding the best photographs with prizes and display in a public exhibition. Photographers should submit their best photographs to Edgmont Environs & Details, a contest, exhibit and sale, by Sept. 9.
“We are looking for images that represent the beauty and unique details of this area. We welcome photographers 18 years of age and older to submit their original work created since January 1, 2014,” said contest organizer Paula Jackson.
The most compelling photographs will be chosen for a four-week exhibition to be mounted at Beauty Art Gallery, 3857 Providence Road. #200, Newtown Square, 19073 (Edgmont Township just off West Chester Pike).
